Sweater Beats is NY's Antonio Cuna. Nu-disco, chill-wave sampling magician Sweater Beats has serious mixing abilities. Establishing label Huh What and Where at college with his mates, Antonio’s crew have made a name for themselves by releasing only the kind of scattered, lo-fi sounds that inspire them personally. He has just been signed to UK's Bondax brand new label "Just Us Recordings" and the single got premiered over on BBC by DJ Annie Mac.
"Sweater Beats is the slowly building Brooklyn baller who produces funky, electronic tunes using samples and slick riffs. No frills, all thrills." i-D magazine
"Combine some trap beats with upbeat R&B vocal samples and a wash of synths and you’ve got the sound of this young New York producer (pictured), the flatmate of another rising producer Bauuer." Nialler9
"We've been crushing on Sweater Beats' baby making tunes for a while now and on October 27 he's coming to play for us. We're quite excited. If you haven't already, be sure to join the likes of Annie Mac, Bondax and Baauer, and start enjoying the music of Sweater Beats. Preferably with the lights dimmed." Brooklyn Exposed
"His game just graduated to the next level." Sol Republic

It will take me a year to repeat enough tracks to make any attempt to select a favorite, and that's not a bad thing. Wonderful diversity of music. adventure_tense
